New & Returning Clients
If you are new to working with me, returning after a break of six months or more, or unsure what type of support is right for your situation, this page will help you take the next step clearly and calmly.
Please start here if any of the following apply
-
You are seeking support for behaviour that feels difficult, worrying, or overwhelming
-
This is your first time booking with me
-
I have not worked with you and your dog in the last six months
-
You are unsure whether what you are seeing is a training or behaviour concern
Starting here helps ensure that support is appropriate, ethical, and tailored to the individual animal and their circumstances.

Choosing the right level of support
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you book. What matters here is choosing the level of support that feels right for you and your dog right now.
You can book any option directly. If behaviour change support is needed, the appropriate intake and next steps will be arranged after booking.
Foundation support
This is a good place to start if you are looking for guidance, reassurance, or help with a specific situation, or if things feel manageable but you would like support to prevent them becoming harder.
Foundation support is often chosen for:
-
Puppies and early life support
-
New rescues
-
Life skills and training
-
Single concerns or check-ins
-
Getting clarity and confidence before deciding what comes next
This level of support offers a calm starting point without committing to a longer programme.
Transitional support
This level is suited to situations where things feel a little more complicated, have been building over time, or where you would benefit from support across more than one session.
Transitional support is often helpful when:
-
Ongoing support is desired
-
There are several factors contributing
-
You want continuity rather than one-off input
-
You need space to adjust, reflect, and build confidence over time
This option allows support to unfold gradually, without committing to a longer programme from the outset.
Comprehensive support
This option is for situations that feel complex or overwhelming, or where behaviour is significantly impacting daily life.
Comprehensive support is usually appropriate when:
-
Concerns are longstanding or severe
-
Multiple behaviours or stressors are involved
-
Safety, welfare, or emotional well-being are a priority
-
You want structured, ongoing clinical support
This level provides the time and depth needed to understand the full picture and work thoughtfully and ethically.

Support is offered at three levels:
-
Foundation support - £279
-
Transitional support - £480
-
Comprehensive support - £675
Each level reflects the time, depth, and type of support involved. Full pricing for each option is available on the services pages.
Payment plans are available for all levels if spreading the cost would be helpful. These are offered to reduce pressure and make support more accessible.
For clients seeking behaviour change support, many pet insurance providers will consider covering part or all of the cost when working with an appropriately registered professional. I am a Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CAB), registered with the Animal Behaviour and Training Council (ABTC), and a full member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC). These registers are recognised by most major insurers.
Insurance support can be discussed after booking, once the nature of the work is clear.
Self-paced learning
For some people, independent learning is the right place to begin.
Alongside 1:1 support, I also offer a small collection of self-paced courses covering common training and behaviour topics. These can be used on their own, or alongside other support.
What My Clients Say

Arthur, our whippet, was struggling with a range of behavioural issues, and we were struggling too.
Then we met Eryn, and everything changed.
She immediately understood him, provided practical tools that worked, and helped us truly understand our dog for the first time. Just a few sessions in, Arthur was already like a different dog.
If you're feeling stuck, get in touch, you won't regret it.
Tom S.

During the first virtual assessment of my sofa-bound rescue dog, Millie, Eryn spotted that a pain condition could be causing her nervousness and sound sensitivity. She was bang on the money.
After some anti-inflammatories, a series of behavioural sessions with Eryn (for the dog and me!!) and a couple of her online training courses, Millie is a different character altogether: fun, confident, adventurous and happy! I can't thank Eryn enough for the huge role in this transformation. Fantastic work :)
